An Ornate Autobiography

My story begins in southern Chile, among long winters, volcanoes, and untamed forests. That landscape taught me to observe patiently and to create through play, using pieces of wood and found materials. From there, my path led me to Santiago, where I discovered the craft of silversmithing at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Later, I studied stone carving in Barcelona and traditional techniques and contemporary jewelry in Florence.

Today, I live in Tuscany, in a countryside home that is also my workshop. Here, I create pieces inspired by the landscape that surrounds me and by the memories I carry within.

Each piece is handcrafted with time, care, and dedication. I combine traditional goldsmithing techniques with an exploration of new forms, working with precious materials such as silver, recycled gold, and carefully selected natural stones.

I work slowly, intimately, and deliberately. I believe in jewelry that carries meaning beyond its material value. Making jewelry is both an ancestral gesture and an intimate act. It is a way of accompanying another person's body through presence and absence. A treasure worn close to the skin, resonating with the person who chooses it. A small offering of metal, stone, and form—for you.

Una Biografia ornamental

Mi historia comienza en el sur de Chile, entre inviernos, volcanes y bosques indómitos. Ese paisaje me enseñó a observar con calma y a jugar con restos de madera.  Desde allí, el camino me llevó a Santiago, donde descubrí el oficio de la plata a los pies de la Cordillera de los Andes. Más tarde, estudié tallado en piedra en Barcelona y técnicas tradicionales y joyería artística en Florencia.

Hoy vivo en la Toscana, en una casa en el campo que también es mi taller. Aquí, creo piezas inspiradas en el paisaje que me rodea y en las memorias que llevo dentro.

Cada pieza es hecha a mano, con tiempo y dedicación. Combino técnicas tradicionales de orfebrería con exploración de nuevas formas, utilizando materiales nobles como la plata, el oro reciclado y piedras naturales cuidadosamente seleccionadas.

Trabajo de manera lenta, íntima y deliberada. Creo en una joyería que tenga sentido más allá del valor material. Hacer joyas es un gesto ancestral y un acto íntimo. Es acompañar el cuerpo de otra persona desde una ausencia/presencia. Es un tesoro que se lleva cerca, que resuena con quien lo elige. Una pequeña ofrenda de metal, piedra y forma para ti.
